Today we have That Aussie Game Sites first ever "Can you review?" competition coming to a close and I am pleased to announce that the winner is,
Adam Fulmizi
From Newcastle, NSW.
And here's the part you've all been waiting for, (and don't forget to place your feedback on his review in the comments section at the bottom of the page)
Back in 1996 Diablo was released, I first played it not too long after that, it was my introduction to RPG's and it was also one of the first PC games I ever played. Almost 16 years later the game I loved so much when I was a kid has its third installment, Diablo III. Diablo III was so popular in the first few weeks that many shops sold out entirely and had back orders for weeks, but has it lived up to the hype?

Typical, the day after I write a story about Team Fortress 2 and Adult Swim and their secret project. I post my favourite video and then Valve go and replace it with something better.
Meet the Pyro may be the funniest thing I've seen all year.

Being a gamer and a film fan is tricky business. When your favourite comic or book gets the celluloid treatment it’s easy to define whether or not it’s a success. If the characters are true to their nature in the source material and the themes are intact then it’s more or less a success. Harry Potter, Hunger Games or Lord of the Rings might have missed a few things, a few peripheral characters or scenes, but the nature of the source has been translated accurately.
Not so much for games. Many of the most popular games barely have themes. Most are built around the mechanic that the game is all about. In some cases the plot boils down to an excuse to do what you do in the game. In some cases the excuses are very good, like Portal, in other games the excuse is just an excuse, like Doom.
Sometimes the excuse is just plain stupid, so you ignore it and create something even more stupid. And therein lays the genius of Dead or Alive the Movie. My favourite game to film adaptation.

Batman Arkham City was my favourite game of last year. I played it religiously, wearing my plastic children’s Batman mask the entire time. It was simply thrilling. So I was pretty surprised at the announcement and almost immediate release of an expansion campaign, adding to the single player story. Needless to say I donned my plastic mask and downloaded it.
