After all the talk about the countdown teaser page on the Kojima productions website yesterday morning at Microsoft's press conference Hideo Kojima snuck onto the stage to debut a teaser trailer for Metal Gear Solid: Rising. Yes, that's right three different countdowns ended up with a new game announcement and teaser trailer. I guess that's a bit teasing.

The big new announcement from Bethesda and Splash Damage, open world FPS game Brink, has finally revealed some details beyond the practically information free teaser trailer they debuted the other day.
From the teaser I was imagining some kind of epic space opera science fiction in the Mass Effect vein of universe. In reality Brink has a lot more in common with nineties overblown film Waterworld.
No really.

Yes Playstation fans you read the title right, Sony has announced a new IP called Agent during its E3 press conference. Not much is known about the title at this point and only a logo was shown on stage but still it's exciting stuff. Look for the description after the break.

Sony finally gave us a look at their much revered driving simulator, Gran Turismo 5, at their press conference this morning. The trailer shown is a little over two minutes and only gets more interesting than the Forza 3 trailer from yesterday's Microsoft press conference about half way through when it reveals that Gran Turismo 5 will include an official WRC rally and NASCAR content and modes. Only Polyphony Digital and the Gran Turismo series would have the balls to take on multiple racing genres in the one game and still come out as the cream of the crop for each and for all.

Crackdown was that rare treat, a game bundled with a goodie everyone wanted, in this case access to Halo 3 Beta, that actually turned out to be really good as well.
While everyone was following over themselves to make GTA clones the man originally behind GTA went of and made a sandbox game where you played super powered cop, out using some excessive force against the local paramilitary criminals running your fair city.
Crackdown 2 looks to have a few new surprises in store though.
