Oh baby, oh yeah, Rebellion know what you like. You like Aliens, you like Predators and you certainly like Colonial Marines toting M41A Pulse Rifles. Oh my, yes you do.
Aliens Versus Predator developer Rebellion have graced us with some slick screenshots of their upcoming game. It's impossible to look at these and not get excited to an unhealthy degree.

Many years ago, when you could smoke in bars and the terrorists in movies were Russian or German, I bought a copy of Red Faction for my PS2. I played it from start to finish and found it to be kind of fun, if a little derivative. It’s key feature was the fact that when you shot the rock walls it actually blew holes in them, big holes. This feature was cool, remember this is back when guns actually leaving bullet holes in games was exciting, but ultimately pointless for the gameplay and only useful a couple of times for getting around locked doors. You could play Red Faction start to finish and barely notice the Geo-mod feature. But Red Faction: Guerrilla is a very different animal.

During our E3 podcast you may have heard me mention Koei (which I recently came out of closest and admitted to being a big fan off) coming to E3 with a new game based on the Trojan War and their Dynasty Warriors game engine.
Everyone laughed, well I'll show them, I'll show them all! With this trailer!

Team ICO announced their next opus for the PS3 during the Sony press conference at E3. If you've never played the Team's previous games, Ico and Shadow of the Collossus then quite frankly you are missing out on some of the most amazing gaming experiences concocted. Team ICO usually discard all the familiar aspects of gaming and create games that almost seem like playable dreams.
All we know from the trailer is that the game is about a boy and his pet giant monster. Strangely that's all I need to know.
Words cannot do justice to this amazing trailer, you just need to click through and watch it.

A game I've waited, some what impatiently, for news on has released a rather exciting trailer featuring CGI and gameplay. Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine, which is under development with the fine folks over at Relic who did such a superb job with the Dawn of War RTS series based on the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
Space Marine isn't an RTS, its all about getting up close and personal with your enemies. Click through for the trailer

Spare Change. The column where the games of yester year, or yester month, become new again to be snapped up in your grubby shoe shining fingers for the few pennies left after your daily bread.
Okay maybe not that depressing. But if you’re interested in what’s available at a budget price you might have missed the first time around and own a PSP, read on.

There are few worse experiences in life than getting your hopes up for something only to have it fail to meet your expectations. Just look at those sad, broken minded individuals who claim the Star Wars prequel films have any value at all, tugging at your shirt and staring into your face for any hint of sacrilegious disagreement. I feel a bit like this with Stormrise, a multiplatform release that I had very high hopes for and no screenshot or gameplay video could deflate me. But when I got the game in my hands it became abundantly clear that there were issues. Not small nit pick issues that you might not even notice, but big hairy smelly issues with no regard for your personal space.
