Update: Gameplay videos of the maps in action after the jump.

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!

Look, Look! Batman Arkham Asylum Collectors Edition comes with a Batarang! Very, very cool. No word on whether or not this will be available in Australia yet, but if it is expect one of my pets and/or children to have an eye injury within hours of this game hitting shelves.

Oh mama. I am excited. Very excited, all three of my nipples are tingling with the thrill of the video I have just watched. What could have caused such a mammary focused reaction you might ask?

Ah Silent Hill. If I wasn't terrified of small towns all ready after staying at B&B run by satanists while on a work trip (loooong story), you'd ensure that particularly scary bee was in my bonnet. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories takes the game back a generation with this version appearing on the PS2, PSP and the Wii.

Hey, maybe if its on the PSP and Mick can play it out doors surrounded by kittens then he could, you know, actually play it? Nah probably not. Read on for the juicy details.

I mention Shadow of the Colossus a lot. I think it's probably right up there as one of the greatest games ever made and a strong bullet point in the games as art debate. When I think of Colossus I think of a beautiful, ethereal game, subtle yet exciting, perhaps an original interpretation of the underlying themes of the fairy tale.

Then it was announced that a Hollywood movie was on the way and a large part of my soul shriveled up into black tar and dripped off.

Yesterday Kevin Rudd announced his decision to roll out a superfast fibre-optic broadband network to 90% of Australian homes and businesses. The 100 mbps target speed blasts our current 20-something mbps out of the water and a 12 mbps wireless network will have you downloading porn YouTube videos to your iPhone faster than you can plug your headphones in.
