Damnation Combines Steampunk and Cowboys

I have to confess to being partial to Westerns. I like them, the books, movies, I like them a lot and yes, sometimes I stand in front of the mirror with a poncho and a black hat on snarling at my self, daring myself to 'make a move'. That's not so strange right? Everyone does it. I like Westerns. I'm also pretty partial to steampunk, a genre of fantasy and science fiction that uses alternative timelines or puts advanced technology or magic in late 19th or early 20th century settings.

Damnation takes both these great tastes and throws them together and its finally solidified a release date: May 28.

Left 4 Dead Survival Pack Chasing you Down Next Week

What exactly is the collective noun for zombies? The general internet consensus seems to be ‘a plague of zombies’ as the most accepted. I’d prefer a ‘stagger’ or perhaps a ‘groan of zombies’.

Well whatever it is, when the Left 4 Dead Survival Pack is available next week you’ll be facing zombies in numbers your wildest nightmares couldn’t conceive.

See that, its a morbidly obese American uppercutting a red kangaroo, while her fearful joey cowers in what he assumed was the safety of his pouch, layers of meaning there, layers.

But this is Tekken 6 after all, the political allegories don't stop there.

Transformers Has the Touch... It's got the Power!

I’ve long held the belief that movie games get a bad rap, there’s plenty of examples of great movie games out there and, as it happens, I’m currently finishing up an article highlighting the top ten.

From the sound of things Transformers Revenge of The Fallen could have been number one if I’d had a chance to play it.

Fight Night Rnd 4 > Fight Night Rnd 3 'Cos EA Said So

Those of you that know me know that EA Sports Fight Night Round 3 is one of my all-time favourite games. It was incredibly fun, with just the right amount of depth to it. It was short enough for me to complete and long enough for me to feel like I really got my money's worth. From memory it's the only game that I have 1000 out of 1000 Achievement Points. But never once did it occur to me to mind that there were issues with the game's physics, until now.

Video after the jump.
