10 Games Overdue for a Remake

6. Eye of the Beholder

While games like Oblivion are great additions to the RPG genre fans of classics like Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder will remember that it’s all about the party, you choose your four hero’s and then go adventuring. Eye of the Beholder was always the far superior game due to its D&D influence and actual plot, something the original Dungeon Master sadly lacked. There were numerous games that copied the format but Eye of the Beholder was still the best.

While a game in which you never actually see your hero’s, other than their faces on the menu bar, might be a hard sell for a remake, an RPG where you get to manage a party of adventurers is sorely lacking from current RPG releases and the Eye of the Beholder namesake still carries a lot of weight.
