I’ve always loved the sinister connotations of the term ‘strange bedfellows’. So many eerie and conspiratorial images can be quickly applied. Now I finally get to use it in a Tuesday cap, hoorah!
So who are the bedfellows getting strange? Well you’ll have to click through to find out.

Don't forget today is Thanksgiving in the US, if you want to get the Storyteller achievement/trophy legitimately in Batman Arkham City you'll need to pay a visit to the creepy Calendar Man. Just head through the backdoor to the courthouse and follow the steps down to the basement. He's waiting there all Lector like for you to visit.
The holidays you need to visit him on are a bit random. Here's the full list:
10/31/2011 - Halloween
11/24/2011 - Thanksgiving
12/25/2011 - Christmas
1/1/2012 - New Years Day
2/14/2012 - Valentines Day
3/17/2012 - St. Patrick's Day
4/1/2012 - April Fools
5/13/2012 - Mothers Day
6/17/2012 - Fathers Day
7/4/2012 - Independence Day
8/16/2012 - Feast Day of St. Roch
9/3/2012 - Labor Day
Off course there are a few spurious methods to get the achievement, but I'll leave that up to you to discover on your own.

The Tuesday Cap is a new regular column capping of and commenting on game news for the past week.
It's Tuesday again, and I'd rather be playing Skyrim. My Redguard has bandits to smite and dragons to kill, mines to explore and maidens to thrill.
Man we've been spoiled by releases this year. A few years ago, when Bioshock, Halo 3 and Modern Warfare all dropped in the same holiday season, many suggested we'd never see another release season like it. But holy heck this year has seen a none stop flood of amazing games from every band of the gamer rainbow. So much like you I'm off to enjoy them. See ya!

It’s been six years since EA and Swedish developer DICE ushered in the dominance of the modern military shooter game with Battlefield 2. For a PC only title (later console ports are best forgotten) Battlefield 2 blew socks of left and right, it was the reason to keep your parents PC running fast and smooth. The Bad Company series has been holding the line since then but it’s finally time for papa bear to come out of hibernation.

It’s been a quietish week, not a lot going down. There’s a reason for that off course, everyone is playing something. Arkham City, Uncharted 2, Battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3, Skyrim, the last week and change has seen a flood of a Metacritic demolishing super releases. Our senses are shattered and our wallets are dry.
And we’re not even done yet, next week sees mairtal aid assisted assault simulator Saints Row 3 and renaissance faire parkour simulator Assassins Creed Revelations further strain out budgets, the week after Aussies finally get a chance to pick up Zelda Skyward Sword.
So we’d all rather be gaming. So I’m going to make this one super brief okay? Okay.
Oh and that birthday, it's the Xbox's tenth birthday today. Yay!
