Upcoming PS3 exclusive Infamous is getting a little bit of an undeserved lukewarm response from the general public. The game combines the best elements of Assassin's Creed and Crackdown's free running and city exploring and throws in a bunch of cool electricity based super powers. The latest reveal is that your powers can lead you down two paths, one light and happy with butterflies the other dark and scary and very emo. Possibly with lots of Nine Inch Nails music and some patricide.
Reminds me of a movie I saw once.

Update: Bethesda have re-released Fallout 3 The Pitt on Live and this time its the right version. Early adopters will need to go into their Xbox 360 memory and delete the pack before downloading it again.
Looking forward to Fallout 3 The Pitt? You betcha! Questions will be answered such as, why are there so many slavers but so few slaves? Where do they all go? Who is behind all this evil? What the hell is an auto axe and will it cut cans? Well I managed to get a few answers, before the game crashed. So I loaded it up and it crashed again.

Welcome to Spare Change part trois. This week it’s a PS3 love in so grab your blue tooth controller and set it to vibrate (slowly, then a bit faster, then slowly again).
While the PS3 has been a little light on the exclusives, each one has been a real gem with one the earliest being one of the best: Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune.

The latest trailer for Wheelman is out and it shows some pretty nifty looking gameplay elements. Aside from all the driving, crashing, shooting, running and taking cover that you can do in the game, you'll also be scampering across the tops of cars, trucks and buses while they're screaming through the streets of Barcelona.

It looks like Nintendo have their A team working on the new Punch Out game for the Wii, and I couldn't be more excited. Most everything from the 80s is being remade in some form or another with most falling in a crap heap when we realise, "Hey, we were just kids when we thought this stuff was cool." Not so with the new Wii version of Punch Out.

Allow me, if you will, to rock your world. Imagine playing the latest graphical juggernauts with the settings almost completely maxed out on your old clunker of a PC or Macbook. This is without upgrading a single component or overclocking a single processor. Sounds too good to be true, right? Enter OnLive.

Welcome to Game Gadgets, a regular column highlighting technology from the world of gaming and a gadget obsession that goes hand in glove with our gaming obsession.
This week I have a little treat for those PC gamers out there that want to start playing on a console but can’t wrap their heads, and hands, around standard Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 controllers.
