QUALITY VEHICLE LEVELS

The single vehicle level in Gears where you had to kill swarms of Kryll with a UV light was crap and certainly the weakest section of the game, Epic has admitted this. It’s been confirmed that ‘driveable’ vehicles this time around will be Reavers, a Centaur Tank and yes, the Brumak. Footage already shown for the Reaver riding level suggests these will be mostly of the rail-shooter variety but that doesn’t make it a bad thing. A couple of Metal Gear Solid 4’s on-rails sequences were thrilling and some of the most memorable moments in the game. Back to the Reaver level footage, it looks absolutely stunning graphically and the prospect of tank warfare and Brumak riding certainly fits in with warfare being conducted on a larger scale this time around. How can it not be awesome?
