Once upon a time, a little company called Marvel announced they were making a Massively Multiplayer Online game featuring their suite of very popular comic book characters. Nerds, geeks and assorted ginger kids the world over cried out hallellujah! For all their prayers had been answered. But then the tears.
Shelving, cancellation and before you knew it we were wailing and throwing ourselves upon the cold corpse of a game that never even existed off paper.

The Today show recently ran a segment showcasing Professor Craig Anderson's report on the effects that violent videogames have on youngsters. I do my best not to get too angry when shows like Today, Sunrise, A Current Affair or Today Tonight run segments geared towards informing parents of what their kids are 'really doing'. These stories are usually sensational and do nothing by piss me off before I've even had my morning coffee.

Much like the original game well known locations are visible throughout and "The Pitt" makes no exception with Cathedral of Learning being clearly visible in the teaser trailer.

I love me some RPG. For me the epitome of a virtual world game is one you really feel like you can get lost in. Games like The Witcher, Fallout 3, Fable, these games ring my bell big time.
Trouble is games as good as these, really competent RPG's that balance fun and realism with giant worlds are few and far between. Now it seems I have a new game to watch out for.

Yesterday Resident Evil 5 was released here in Australia, but it's actually been out in Japan long enough for players to discover that it's possible to unlock secret costumes for the game's characters.
Sheva's unlockable costume has been doing the rounds online and it's... it's rather raunchy. Capcom really need to be commended for dressing Sheva suitably for an African zombie apocalypse. I'm joking of course, so allow me to construct a lesson on authenticity...
