You can now install your favourite games to hard drive, so give your disc drive and your ears a rest and in most cases load times should be reduced as well.  Some games have been optimised to load from the disc very quickly like Gears of War 2.  In that case improvement will be minimal but most games’ load times should be much faster.  Gears of War 2 has been installed on our machine, it requires 6.7GB of memory and took about ten minutes.  This may be the excuse you’ve been waiting for to upgrade to the Elite.
