Guys,

Playfire is the new social networking website for gamers. It's getting a quite popular. It's like MySpace for gamers and will no doubt turn to shit in about 3 months time.

I've setup a clan for That Aussie Game Site that we will hopefully be able to participate as a group against the rest of the world... together.

http://www.playfire.com/a/clan/that-aussie-game-clan

If anyone knows of a better, more organised clan / comp that we can participate in then please speak up.

Mick out

Definitely want to get something going. Our efforts on Friday night with Halo reminded me how fun it was to play with guys you know.

Playfire's shifty status is the reason I haven't really got into it. Anyone know a better place for us to register our clan? MLG maybe?

He told me about that. The reaction was hilarious. Couldn't get the door to shut. SLAM SLAM SLAM.

We had to finish it though. Would've been a waste otherwise.

I had the mike turned of when I extremely inebriated wife came in at 1am after a big night of work drinks. I'd planned the session in anticipation of her not being there, but I thought we'd be done before she came home, about half of the times my ghost suddenly veered over the side, that was her sitting on me and trying to get my attention.

Mental note, do not involve 9 year old in marathon game sessions in the future. Arnhell Jr. was a rabid bear the rest of the weeked.

A rabid bear with a hug sense of accomplishment, I'm sure.

Well no, he realised when he woke up on Saturday that he didn't get the achievement on his profile because he was logged in as a guest, he was pretty dark about that...

Just wanted to mention that Playfire seems to still be going pretty strong 2 years on. This is an invitation link to anyone who wanted to join or rejoin the social game thing.

http://www.playfire.com/a/register/invite/176r-85d8b4

I think we're automatically made chums in the system if you use the invite.

You can enter your Xbox GT, PSN username and Steam name (no passwords) and it pulls up your gamer history the same way your sig cards do. It's actually got a pretty impressive layout and system going.

I thought we could perhaps use it to start coordinating Guild/Clan style nights again for Gears,BF,CoD and anything else (Assassins Creed Retribution Multi!!!!).

I should also mention that photo of my with handlebar mo is pretty old, I look like this now.
