So took me ages to get the Welcome Back pack to work, turns out if you quit out without selecting any games it doesn't let you access them again and you have to go into your system download history and reaccess the link to get back into the PSN store welcome back section.

Spent the last three days, downloading day and night, trying to get inFamous and Ratchet and Clank. inFamous was on 70% when i went to bed last night. Flicked it on this morning and it says 'not enough memory'. Resisting the urge to hurl my PS3 through a window.

Anyone had any luck with the Welcome Back pack? Has anyone successfully DLed anything from it?

A. Titles are fantastic games.... but played them.

B. The downloads won't be unmetered.

C. The new handheld PSP has cross game chat but PS3 still doesn't.

D. I only got my welcome back email today.

E. I haven't missed anything by PSN being down.

F. Where is Lorrie.

This I think is something that confirmed my fear that it was due to the OS restrictions already running at 100% of their ram reserves. So adding something like this in would force the need for them to rewrite a lot of the code.

Lame....

PS4 will have it then i guess... ;)

Aaron, et al:
Ran into same download problems conveyed here. Emailed Sony, received link to this:
http://us.playstation.com/support/answe ... ?a_id=2411

Worked like a charm...albeit far too complicated for something intended to gently invite me back to the fold. Still, at least they developed a workaround...for their workaround...? :)

Downloaded 4 total titles from my US/AUS accounts for PS3, 2 from US for PSP (as these devices are region locked). Slow as heck to download...but they did get there. And yes, whew!, what a cap hit.

Free @Home stuff was able to download in exception to some King Tut outfits...although required manually adding every one of the 100 items to the cart. Only eighteen at a time, as that's the max, rinse/wash/repeat.

I appreciate the free stuff for sure, the PSN store is just so painful to use, I've been spoilt by Steam and Live.
