So the whole Foxconn thing has bothered me for a long time, not just because it's a horrible situation but also because it's a situation where taking a guilt motivated knee jerk reaction to abstain from all technology doesn't help the situation at all.

So I decided to go ahead and post this contentious piece after sitting on it a month for no other reason than I'd like to stimulate some discussion.
