Wikipedia’s description for Muriel’s Wedding goes a little something like this, “Muriel Heslop is a socially awkward, slightly overweight, and naïve ‘ugly duckling’ obsessed with the music of ABBA…” That’s gaming gold right there, boys and girls and pretty much sums up most of the Aussie gaming community. Prepare to empathise! This RPG would send you on a journey to fulfill your lifelong dream of tricking a bloke into marrying you and teaching you valuable life lessons along the way. It could feature an interesting difficulty system where on the hardest level you would look like Miss Heslop, but on the easiest you would look like Toni Collette from About A Boy (i.e. Bangin’), making it easier for you to pick up a bloke. Even if my interpretation doesn’t grab you, at least we can all agree that this game would smash The Da Vinci Code game on Metacritic.
