Awesome: $5,000 Plus

Ah my dream home surround sound system, imagining this is since it would probably be the most awesome thing you have heard in your life. Buying it would be another thing since it would be massively expensive and it is also something that I will probably never be able to afford if I hope to ever own a house. Do you see that picture below? Are you scared? You should be. That is the Pioneer 10.2 Flagship AV Receiver, the SCLX90. I think you need a PowerStation next to your house to power it and a loan to pay for its $13,999 price tag.

That is exactly why I won’t be picking a system that is above $5000 because every set up you buy will sound fantastic. You are only limited about how much you can spend. There will always be a salesman or audio elitist telling you to stretch your budget by $500 or so and you can get “insert option here.” But stick to your budget, haggle for a lower price and listen to the speakers and AV receiver combo before you buy. Speakers are purely subjective and its up to you and your ears if one system is worth an extra $1000 or not.
