Colin Moriarty - Fallout 3

Ah Colin, the lovable scamp, actually he's not that lovable. In fact the first time you meet that horrible son of a %#$@* it's all you can do not to shoot him in the face with your half broken Chinese pistol. But of course you can't, you need him, he knows which way your dad went. But to find out what he knows you have to do a completely rotten job for him first. Every moment you have to spend in Moriarty's presence makes you want to wash your hands, not many characters in games illicit such an unpleasant feeling so casually, but Moriarty has it spades and he's Irish to boot.

Colin Moriarty is as villainous as his namesake. He's the local bar owner, drug dealer and crime lord in Megaton City, the first major stopping point after you leave the Vault in Fallout 3. His appearance in the game is brief but memorable. Mostly for is outrageous Irish accent and the fact that he drops the F bomb every three or four words. As if you didn't dislike the character enough, he also 'owns' the mutant Gob who works behind the door and forces tired working girl Nova to sell herself to the local customers.

Yup he's another charming Irish man to meet on your travels. Moriarty earns three shamrocks for his accent, but no Irishman, no matter how evil, would keep slaves. Like the Scots we're big on freedom.
