Nina Williams - Tekken
Blonde and sexy, Nina Williams is one of the few Tekken characters who has appeared in every single game in the series. She even warranted her own (not very good) spin off game called Death by Degrees.
Trained from a young age by their assassin father Nina and her slightly sluttier sister Anna became experts in Aikido and Koppojutsu; the Japanese art of striking to break bones. In the first game she'd been hired to assassinate Heihachi Mishima which she, like everyone else, messes up. Since then she's been frozen, cloned, had her memory erased, been artificially inseminated and unwittingly given birth to a boy who became boxer Steve Fox, got possessed by a god and had a gun battle with her sister that lasted 'for several days', that's a direct quote from her Tekken bio. Every time I read it I feel a little dumber. Did they have pee breaks? Did they have lunch? They must have at least stopped at the local hunting supplies to refresh the ammo right?
She enjoys looking mean, wearing her hair in a pony tail, wearing weird bondage outfits and having a incredibly stupid back story courtesy of the Tekken team's 'writers'. Other than writing 'she's Irish' there's practically nothing Irish about her, if you said 'koppojutsu' to someone in Dublin, they'd say 'bless you'. The Irish don't need bone breaking martial arts, we can sing.
In the upcoming Tekken movie the character of Nina will be played by South African model Candice Hillebrand, because of course there are no female actors in Ireland with blonde hair. Right? Considering she's stoic and unemotional, Nina only gets one shamrock for being entirely unirish. but she's come fourth over Frank for being a damn site prettier.
