With E3 just around the corner we’re rolling into that quiet time, the calm before the PR hurricane of wild claims and crazy stunts that is E3. No joke, the game I'm most anticipating right now is somehow Lego Batman 2, especially since I learned Bane is in it and they've started promoting it with these faux Arkham City images. I’ve dug up some scant pieces of news to tide us over anyway. But overall I’m expecting you to bring some champagne conversation to the relationship so we’ve got something to talk about.

So, uh... played that new Angry Birds game yet?

A court case has leaked some details of Bungies next game Destiny, that will it will be scifi/fantasy shooter game with four instalments, the first appearing next year on the Xbox 360 and subsequent sequels appearing on the next Xbox and the Playstation 4. The game also has a series of downloadable expansions codenamed ‘Comet’. So, not very much information to go on.

Apparently, and this sounds weird, but the upcoming Elder Scrolls MMO will have a main story quest that can be played completely solo. So while other people are running around you jumping repeatedly, you can still storm straight ahead and play a regular Elder Scrolls game and ignore them all.

Square Enix has trademarked Just Cause 4, and no you haven’t played Just Cause 3 yet, in fact it’s not even been confirmed yet. But Square Enix are pretty confident the series has some legs.

The Rocksteady Games guys have said there are 3 to 4 secrets in Batman Arkham City that haven’t been discovered yet. Holy hidden easter eggs Batman!

Diablo 3 has all ready had two of its secrets revealed, two secret joke levels, a happy one featuring unicorns and rainbows and one called Development Hell, with lots of industry jokes only developers will laugh at.

More delays, Aliens Colonial Marines and Devil May Cry are slipping into 2013. If they were in your ‘Delaypool’ (see last weeks TTC) congratulations.

To potential stave off their looming financial troubles 38 Studios have released a trailer for their MMO titled Project Copernicus.

With an upcoming update your Kinect will now be able to ‘face track’. Not sure exactly what that means though as the press releases don’t seem particularly clear, it might mean Kinect can now read facial expressions though, which would be cool. Rumours persist of a new generation Kinect unveil at E3. Apparently Kinect can now also totally deal with people sitting down too.

Roxio's next game after Angry Birds Space is Amazing Alex, an educational game based on an indie game they bought called Casey's Contraptions. I guess that's the best you can do when the two developers considered to be the fathers of Angry Birds quit the company, as they did last week.

Developer Overkill, creators of popular indie title The Heist, have teased a collaborative project with Valve that mixes Left 4 Dead with The Heist.

Dan Harmon, the unceremoniously dumped former showrunner for brilliant but undeservedly ignored comedy show Community, was asked what his Assistant Producer credit on the show means for him and replied, “I’ll get paid the same as if I sat home all day masturbating and playing Prototype 2. Also, buy Prototype 2, it’s fucking great!”. Wow, don’t know if my Prototype 2 review will be as good as that.

Honestly; really, truly, honestly, I don't want to rag on Nintendo, I own so much Nintendo stuff that it seems grossly hypocritical at best. But they make it so easy. Apparently one of the big features of the Wii U will be cloud saves. Like you have for your Xbox and PS3 right now. Because the biggest problem I have with my current Wii is save game space. Agh, see, I can't help it. I'm going to give myself a time out.
