If you're all ready a fan of the Hitman game series and our awaiting the impending release of Hitman Absolution with the same panting enthusiasm as I am, then you all ready know Agent 47 is the greatest character in this or any other game series ever. No arguement off course.
Sadly there are those of you who are unfamiliar with the greatness than it is the affluent and lethat Agent 47, dapper as a bowler hat, deadly as a great white shark, he's like the awesomeness of Pacman and Max Payne combined (bald head and propensity to use drugs to achieve goals combined with duel wielding pistols and affinity for killing). So here's five reasons educating you crazy kids as to exactly why the wielder of the piano wire is just the greatest.
1. Agent 47 Doesn’t Need a Signature Weapon
Screw chainsaw bayonets and battle rifles. Agent 47 doesn’t need some iconic weapon to define him, basically anything he can get his hands on, golf club, kitchen knife or wood chipper, becomes the most awesome weapon of all time. Sure he’s got those two .45mm AMT Hardballer pistols and his piano wire thing with him everywhere he goes, but he doesn’t even need them, to Agent 47, everything is a weapon.
2. Agent 47 is a clone.
You know who else was a clone? Boba Fett. And Boba Fett is totally awesome, ergo, Agent 47 is totally awesome.
Also Dolly the Sheep while casting some doubt on the viability of cloning due to her premature death, was totally awesome.
Also very talented at space saving
3. Agent 47 Always Dresses to Impress
The man is stylish, easily the most stylish video game character ever. Look at his competition: Link dresses like an effeminate man cosplaying Legolas, Nathan Drake dresses like captain McDouche of the grand old ship The Doucher, every other character wears camouflage, power armour or freaky skin tight outfits (even if they’re creepy old men, looking at you Wrinkly Snake!). Seriously, when was the last time you saw any of that on Mad Men? Barney Stinson was right, suits all the way.
4. Agent 47 Doesn’t Go in For Big Showy Displays of Machismo
One thing you’ll never see in a Hitman game is Agent 47 walking away casually from an explosion. With Agent 47 it’s all about the subtle, quiet kill. When you do the job right playing as Agent 47 nobody even knows you’ve been there. People don’t even suspect there’s been a murder. While many action hero game characters spout one liners and cheesy dialogue at the climactic kill Agent 47’s kills are usually followed by someone else shouting, ‘There’s been a terrible accident’.
5. Agent 47 is Bald and has a Tattoo of a Barcode
All the coolness of Patrick Stewart combined with the deliciousness of your favourite packaged food stuffs. That’s Agent 47.
Finally, this might help to convince the hold outs
