Diablo 3 launches tonight so you’re either reading this while waiting for it download or you have it and aren’t playing it, in which case I think you’re crazy. A third option may be that you’ve encountered the mysterious ‘error 37’ and are currently locked out of the game. If it makes you feel any better some people have all ready finished the game within seven hours of it being released.

In TV show to game news Walking Dead was the most popular XBLA title the last week of April. Also, Ron Perlman starring show featuring Ron Perlman, being all awesome and Perlmany, Sons of Anarchy (starring Ron Perlman), is getting a console game adaptation. Also there’s that Game of Thrones game, but that’s meant to be based on the books, so no brilliant Peter Dinklage dialogue, which is a shame.

That’s Kingdoms of Amalur sequel is looking unlikely. 38 Studios is struggling to avoid going bankrupt and just missed a loan payment of over a million dollars. No official word from the company about their financial woes or the status of the Amalur MMO. The worst part is that the loan was taken out of the local Rhode Island economy, so if 38 Studio defaults, tax payers will be the ones covering the cost.

Battlefield 3 is introducing a service very similar to Call of Duty Elite. Try and keep a straight face when you see it.

An author is suing Ubisoft because Assassins Creed has apparently lifted ideas from his novel printed five years prior to the first games release. In my lay opinion his whole case is incredibly frivolous and based loosely on the fact the kooky genetic memory science that’s used in the Animus machine in Assassins Creed is, kind off, by a stretch, similar to the even more kooky soul memory science the scientists in his novel Link are studying. More an offhand attempt at some out of court cash.
