LA Noire, it's like a dame wandering into your office and promising you the case of your life, a make or break deal, then sauntering out again, not to be heard from for months at a time. Leaving you hanging till you think she's gonna turn up in a landfill or floating face down in the bay. Dames man, crazy dames... (quick google search), oh right, dames are ladies. Wow I was totally off base, I'm not even going to tell you what I thought I was talking about there.

Anyway, LA Noire is still out there being busily worked on by Sydney based developers Team Bondi. As evidence, below is the first trailer since the last one over six months ago. In case you have a religious objection to watching game trailers, or maybe your at work, I'll let you know that the trailer makes the game look very cool. The facial animations and performances in the trailer are amazing. This could be the biggest step forward for open world crime games since Grand Theft Auto 3. LA Noire is easily my most anticipated game of 2011. Currently its set to release Q1 next year. Hopefully in time for my birthday.
