It's just been far, far too long since we've had a game as smart or as open to experimentation (gee that sounds like a kinky personal ad) as the Deus Ex series. Thankfully they've made another one, and although the screenshots don't entirely fill me with confidence that we won't receive a watered down shooter cashing in on the Deus Ex name to make some quick sales, the trailer video after the jump gives me a little more faith. Deus Ex has always been that one game where the cry of, 'You don't like it because you just don't get it', was entirely accurate. The trailer doesn't contain any actual gameplay, just lots of cinematic stuff. But what it is looks pretty damn special. If the game looks half as good it could be one to add to your anticopatometer.
