The range of Premium Theme content on the Xbox Live has been... whats the word... crap. Very little on offer if you aren't a Halo or Fable fan and the generic ones are a touch meh. When I downloaded the Fable 2 expansion the other day I decided to grab the average looking Saints Row 2 premium Theme to tart up the old dashboard.

Now those adorable bastards at MS have decided to release a Crackdown demo today. Damn it!

I lurved Crackdown, absolutely lurved it to bits and forked over all my pennies for all of its expanded content. But it's still a bit surprising for a Crackdown Theme to appear out of no where like this. But then again, a certain major game industry show is just around the corner and Crackdown is often mentioned by MS peeps, notably Major Nelson, as a game long overdue for a sequel. So maybe this is a wetting of the old appetite for some big Crackdown news at E3?
