Since their recent acquisition by Square Enix troubled British developer Eidos have been a little quiet on their plans for the future. President for Eternity Ian Livingston recently announced a whole slate of new titles to come out of Eidos and it looks to be sequels, sequels and more sequels.

Kane and Lynch 2 is on track for an apparent September release, a new Tomb Raider game is currently being worked on proving that a combination of poor sales and poor reviews aren't enough to crush this franchise, Deus Ex 3 is still on its way as is Just Cause 2 and the rumoured secret work on Thief IV... well that continues to be just rumours, but 'likely' rumours.

Most pleasingly for me at least was the confirmation that work was continuing on the next installment in murder simulator Hitman. That made my mothers day.

Eidos has two properties launching this year as well, June sees Batman Arkham Asylum pounce onto shelves and Mini Ninjas is slated for some last quarter appearance.

All up the house of Eidos is looking pretty healthy after the takeover and has some promising games in the works. Although I think we could do without another Tomb Raider.
